Happy Birthday McKenzie!!

Yesterday, June 4th, was McKenzie's 4th Birthday!

She was elated to arise to a delightful surprise...

 Macy wrapped a special gift and had prepared a delicious Birthday Breakfast.

 "Cookies for Breakfast!!"

 "And four candles too"

 Macy says "Hey, wait a minute...where's MY cookie!"

 Kenzie was pretty excited about her little chef's get-up.

 Thinking about her birthday wish...she told us afterward that she was wishing for princesses.

Macy's pretty disinterested at this point...still mad that she didn't get a cookie for breakfast.  Your day will come sugarbug.

 

 "I'm FOUR!!!"  is what she told everyone all day long.

 Macy proved to be more of a hinderance than helpful...but she insisted on putting her "stamp" on the decorations...okay, whatever!

So today's the big day for Kenzie's party.  The day she has been counting down to for at least 6 months.  It is our intent to have the party at the park...but in true Nebraska fashion a 30% chance of rain has snuck into the forecast.  It had NOT been there before!  :-(  And the chance for rain only spans across the hours of her party.  sweet.  How's that for luck?!

Despite this small chance for showers, we are still hopeful for a park party, but we are cleaning the house as a back-up plan just in case.  Looks like we won't be heading to church today afterall.  Sorry God, but we know you're still going to love us anyway  :-)
