Yogurt Drops!! mmmm

Me & McKenzie tried something new today...we made Yogurt Drops!
It was quite simple really.

1)  We took some Harvest Peach Yogurt out of the fridge.

2)  Scooped into a plastic bag.

3)  Squeezed small drops onto a cookie tray (this was McKenzie FAVORITE PART! - and the messiest of course -  which would explain the absense of photos.  Had to be more hands on during that portion.)  The first few squirts were a major disaster, but it did not take long for her to get the hang of it.  She discovered the hard way, that you do NOT have to squeeze very hard. hehe

4)  We decided to make it a bit more fun by adding colored sprinkles on top too  :-)

5)  Lastly, we placed them in the freezer.  They were ready to eat within the hour!

6)  Both girls (and Danielle & Heather who stopped over) LOVED them.  We'll be making them again VERY soon!
putting the final touches on.
She was taking her time as this was a very INTRICATE process!
The last half went straight to her mouth!
as you can see, she was quite proud of her creations.
She explained that one was a fish...another was a duck...another was a star...another was a circle...one was a tear drop...one was a snowman...one was a heart...and the rest were blobs!  Can you spot them all??
gotta love the sprinkles stuck in her teeth.  hehe
McKenzie loves yogurt...would eat it all day long if we'd let her.  Little sis does too.  The problem for her though, is that it gets MESSY!  The sticky spoon ALWAYS, ends up in her blonde locks.
NEVER FAILS!

This trick provides a nice "clean" solution to an otherwise sticky situation.

LOVE IT!!  :-)

Oh & she thinks they're cookies...hehe...gotch-ya.

-------------
I found this idea on Pinterest!! (Thanks Robin)

(A site I actually I try to avoid and make it a point to visit just once every couple months - Pinterest is amazing, don't get me wrong...but it's overwhelming and gives me anxiety - it is over-stimulating and quite possible TOO INSPIRING (yes, that's possible)!  Pinterest adds non-essential projects to my always growing and seemingly never caught up to-do list and stresses me out.  ugggh)

But every once in a while, on a rainy day like today, I venture over to the site and allow myself to be inspired.

It only took a few minutes before I found this super fun & simple idea...I yelled to Kenzie over in the toy room and we started making it on the spot.  :-)
